A Sony anunciou que uma demo de Mortal Kombat será lançada semana que vem para os assinantes do plano PlayStation Plus. Na próxima semana, ela estará disponível para todos usuários.
A demo inclui quatro personagens jogáveis: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage e Mileena, além de seus fatalities e ataques X-Ray. Duas fases estarão na demo: The Pit e The Living Forest. Há modo single-player e também o versus. Para quem possui um televisor 3D, poderá testar o jogo com essa opção.
